Steering Triumphant Innovators of the Next Generation (STING), a non-profit organization hosted their annual STING, Inc. Community Career Day to educate Cobb County students on the different career paths available. I had the pleasure of sharing my story on how I became Cobb County's Tax Commissioner. I also highlighted some of the different career opportunities within our #CobbTax office as well as what I call my "ABCs for Interviewing".
The students asked some great questions about benefits, office culture and internships. Other guest speakers included Deputy Chief Hamilton and Detective Malone with the Cobb County Police Department.
